Quilt Hangers
When you have finished a masterpiece quilt, or received a beautiful quilt from someone, you need a great way to display it. Quilts make beautiful art in your home if displayed on a great quilt hanger.
When displaying your quilt there are a few things you might want to keep in mind to preserve the colors and fabric. Always keep your quilts out of direct sunlight. This will prevent fading the fabrics and breaking down the fibers. Another good idea is to rotate your quilts every few weeks so that they are not out in the light for a long period of time. When storing your quilts, do not store them in wooden dresser drawers or cardboard boxes. A pillow case or piece of muslin fabric works the best. Always fold them in a different way each time you store them so as not to form deep creases. With a little extra care, your quilt will last for future generations to enjoy.
